We built the tool we wanted to use

Most software for drone data is one of two things. It is overbuilt, with more than a team actually needs. Or it is too technical to use, and too hard to share with someone who was not there.

That is why we built our own. Skycat built Skycat Photo first, and later Skycat Spatial and Skycat Sensing as the tool for our own work: aerial files, data, and analytics that stay clean, and simple enough to hand to someone else. When it did that job for us, we turned it into a product other people can use.
